You can help your church and it
won't cost you a thing
Remember, you can help your church when
you purchase groceries. These
merchants will give our Church a donation of up to 6%. At
Fry’s,
use your rechargeable plastic gift
card that can be purchased at Church any Sunday after the 9:30 am service. The
card can be used
just like cash at the checkout counter. The plastic cards are sold in $20
increments and are “RECHARGEABLE” up to a value of $500 at Fry’s. The
rebate schedule varies from 3% to 6% depending on the amount of card purchases. At
SAFEWAY you must have your Safeway Club card
“registered” to establish a link to our Church account. Then each time you
go through the checkout stand and show your Safeway Club card, Safeway will
direct deposit to our account every 60 days an amount up to 3% of the total
purchases; the amount of the check will depend upon the total dollar amount of
purchases made by our members. But you must register your card in order to link
it to the church account number. It’s easy to do! Just see a finance Committee
representative at a table between services or contact the church financial
secretary. You can still buy paper food
certificates for Bashas’.
These are available for purchase in $20 denominations.
Use them like cash when you go through the checkout line. The church receives 6%
on the dollar from Bashas’. For information on these food
certificate programs talk to someone from the Finance Committee every Sunday
between services for information and help.
